Tickets on Sale Now for Live Tapings of Emmy-Award Winning "Bands of Enchantment"

The Emmy Award-winning television series Bands of Enchantment returns to the historic KiMo Theatre in downtown Albuquerque for four nights of live entertainment. Filming its highly anticipated fourth season, the show promises to be a musical extravaganza as nine bands from across the globe gather to create an unforgettable musical experience in front of a live audience.

Bands of Enchantment will showcase an eclectic lineup of musicians from Cuba, Colombia, Canada, Texas, New Mexico, and beyond. 

“Bands of Enchantment brings a surge of great energy to our community and we’re glad to see them return to the historic KiMo,” said Mayor Tim Keller. “The show consistently brings new sounds, emerging talent and quality performances to be enjoyed by our families.”

Night 1 on Thursday, September 12 will feature the electrifying Cimafunk, a Grammy-nominated Cuban musician renowned for his unique fusion of funk, hip-hop, Cuban, and Afro-Caribbean music.  

Night 2 on Friday, September 13, features the Jacob Shije Trio, a gifted Indigenous musician from Santa Clara Pueblo whose trio blends ancestral traditions with modern sounds; Dust City Opera, Albuquerque’s own alt-rock band that merges grunge, gothic country, punk, folk, and rock into a captivating and eclectic sound; and Uncle Lucius from Austin, Tex., whose band blends classic rock, blues, soul, and country into a uniquely Texan sound.

Night 3 on Saturday, September 14 includes Willajay, the alternative pop sensation from Albuquerque fronted by the lyrical genius of Willa Edwards; and Kevin Herig, the electrifying singer-songwriter who has been a cornerstone of the Albuquerque music scene since 2006.

Night 4 on Sunday, September 15 features singer-songwriter Zinadelphia, whose soulful grooves are driven by a fierce sense of intuition and self delves into themes of self-growth, divine femininity, and empowerment; and The Free Label, the Toronto-based dynamic collective of six multi-instrumentalists and vocalists who electrify audiences with an explosive blend of 70s disco, 90s R&B, and high-energy funk.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. on September 12, 13, and 14; shows start at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. on September 15; show starts at 7 p.m.
