Fall into Fun at ABQ BioPark’s Harvest Festival

Event features live music, local artisans, Discovery Stations, and more.

As the vibrant colors of autumn emerge and a refreshing breeze signals the change of seasons, the ABQ BioPark is excited to present its highly anticipated Harvest Festival at the Botanic Garden and Aquarium, taking place on October 5 and 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This festive event offers a family-friendly celebration of nature and community, featuring a wide array of activities and entertainment for all ages, with some fun surprises along the way.

The Harvest Festival will also kick off an exclusive sneak peek at the exciting progress of the Heritage Farm expansion. From October 3-13, visitors will have limited access to explore parts of the Farm before it closes again on October 14 for the remainder of construction.

Purchasing tickets in advance on our website is highly recommended. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children 3-12 and seniors 65+. Admission for children under 3 is free. New Mexico BioPark Society members receive at 50% discount with a valid member card and I.D.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 5 and 6, local bands will perform on the new Event Pavilion stage as well as multiple locations throughout the Botanic Garden and Aquarium. From surf rock and swing to folk and flamenco, there will be something for everyone. A full entertainment schedule can be found on the City’s website.

Other fun activities include face painting; photo opps with seasonal scenery; an artisan market with handcrafted goods; Discovery Stations with educational activities; and a variety of festival treats such as BBQ and loaded apple wedges from Shark Reef Cafe. Additional food kiosks will be located throughout the event offering a variety of treats for purchase. In addition, visitors can purchase pints of delicious cider made from apples grown at the Botanic Garden at all food kiosks. A variety of local brews also will be available for purchase for those 21 and over.
