Exhibit at South Broadway Cultural Center Showcases the Creativity of City Employees
Employee art show on view through March 12.
February 7, 2022 - A new exhibit at South Broadway Cultural Center includes artwork by 26 City of Albuquerque employees representing several departments. The show opens with a reception on Thursday, Feb. 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. The show will be on view through March 12.
The exhibit is collection of works ranging from sculpture to painting and photography.
"The works range from spontaneous abstract compositions to very planned and executed works," explains Gallery Curator Augustine Romero. "Everything seems to be a great departure from the eight hours a day they all serve."
South Broadway Cultural Center hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
