Annual Twinkle Light Parade to Illuminate Nob Hill This Saturday
November 29, 2022 - The City of Albuquerque's annual Twinkle Light Parade will shine light on a one-mile stretch of Nob Hill on Saturday, Dec. 3 beginning at 5:15 p.m. More than 100 entries including marching bands, big box trucks, show vehicles, firetrucks, dance groups, and more vying for Best in Show are expected to light up Central Ave. starting at Washington St. and moving west to Girard Blvd.
More than 4,000 people of all ages representing local businesses, non-profit organizations, community and school groups, and families have worked hard to ensure that this year's Twinkle Light Parade will be the "twinkliest" of them all. The grand finale will feature the Carpenter's Union escorting Jolly Ol' St. Nick down the parade route accompanied by local car clubs for Santa's Cruise.
Central Ave. will close to traffic starting at 3 p.m. giving shoppers and diners access to dozens of stores, galleries, and restaurants in the area.
The Twinkle Light Parade is free, rain or shine event. Park & Ride is a great alternative to getting to the parade without the hassle of traffic. Free parking will be available at the parking lot located on the southwest corner of Lomas Blvd. and University Blvd. Buses will run from 3 p.m. from the lot to Johnson Field throughout the event until 10:30 p.m.
The Twinkle Light Parade is sponsored by iHeart Media. A full list of participants can be found here.
