Camp BioPark: Inspire Your Child's Awareness of Nature Through Fun, Hands-On Learning
This summer, ignite your child’s curiosity about the natural world with Camp BioPark! Designed for students in grades K-9, Camp BioPark combines hands-on activities, games, art, and behind-the-scenes experiences to inspire young learners to explore the wonders of plants and animals. Weeklong camp sessions run from June 2 to July 25.
Camps for Every Age
Camp BioPark is split into age-appropriate sessions to ensure that children engage with science in ways that are meaningful and fun:
- Discover! (Grades K-1) – Learn about nature through guided walks, crafts, and animal tours.
- Explore! (Grades 2-3) – Dive deeper into science with bug explorations, marine animal investigations, and interactive games.
- Adventure! (Grades 4-6) – Embark on exciting full-day excursions, featuring behind-the-scenes tours, keeper talks, and thrilling animal encounters.
- Investigate! (Grades 7-9) – For those with an eye on a future science career, these camps provide hands-on research opportunities and the chance to learn from BioPark experts about animal care, ecology, and more.
Additionally, for students in grades 2-9, each camp includes at least one behind-the-scenes tour for a truly immersive experience. From butterfly discovery to biology treks along the Rio Grande, children will be fully engaged in nature’s wonders.
