ABQ BioPark Says Goodbye to Genade the Hartmann's mountain zebra
Genade had been at the BioPark since November 2016.
Feb. 25, 2021 - We are sad to announce the passing of Genade the Hartmann’s mountain zebra. She was observed acting and behaving normally all morning and seen eating at about 2 p.m. on February 15, but was found dead two hours later.
A necropsy was performed, but no obvious cause of death was found. The BioPark is still awaiting further results from the histopathology. Genade was born in 2015 and arrived to the BioPark in November 2016 along with fellow female Eerste.
