5 Reasons to Bring Your Kids to the ABQ BioPark
Kid-Friendly Attractions
The ABQ BioPark has a number of attractions that your kids will love. They’ll discover a hidden world with giant bumblebees and carrots at the Children’s Fantasy Garden in the Botanic Garden. They can ride a lobo or Tasmanian devil on the Endangered Species Carousel at the Zoo. If your little one is a train enthusiast, take them for a ride on our Zoo train or a visit to our Railroad Garden at the Botanic Garden, where they can watch miniature trains like Thomas the Tank Engine loop around two 400-foot train tracks.
Camp BioPark
Children from preschool to grade 9 can learn more about the natural world and animals at Camp BioPark. The program has spring and summer sessions. Typical camp days include guided walks, games and crafts.
Aquarium Overnights
Aquarium Overnights are the ultimate sleepover. Pack your pajamas and sleep with the stingrays, sharks and sea turtles. Kids will learn about ocean species and their nighttime behavior, make crafts, play games and watch sea-themed movies in the Aquarium Theater.
Story Time
Did you know that you and your child can enjoy story time at the Zoo and Botanic Garden? Volunteers read stories about plants and animals using props to create imaginative journeys for your youngster.
