Sharks and rays play an important role in the world's oceans ecosystems and in the imaginations of humans throughout the world. Learn about their amazing adaptations, keen senses and how you can help save them from extinction.

Meet the ABQ BioPark's sand tiger, sandbar, nurse and zebra sharks. Visit discovery stations to take a close look at shark skin under microscopes, hold real shark teeth and learn from our docents about shark and stingray biology and adaptations. You can make your own shark or stingray at our crafts table, or play one of our games to learn about shark diversity and eating adaptations of sharks & stingrays!
