Description
New Mexico Arbor Day is celebrated on the second Friday in March each year. This year, come down to the Botanic Garden for a day of education, fun, and live tree giveaways courtesy of Let’s Plant ABQ! Tree recipients will also receive $1 off of their admission to the Aquarium and Botanic Garden for each member of the household.
Beginning at 10 a.m., the first 100 families to complete a scavenger hunt in the plaza will earn a tree ticket. Entry to the plaza is free and giveaways are on a first come first served basis, until supplies last. One tree per household.
Then, check your tree at the Tree Valet in the Education courtyard so you can head into the Botanic Garden for a demonstration of tree planting and care, Discovery Stations with arts and crafts, seed ball and seed packet giveaway, a tree tour, and more!
