Description

Kodomo no Hi, or Children’s Day, is celebrated in Japan on May 5th. On this national holiday, children are respected and honored for their individual strengths and happiness is wished upon them. Families celebrate Kodomo no Hi by flying colorful koi kites called koinobori which represent the members of the family, kids wear kabuto origami helmets, and families display samurai dolls.
