Description

This conversation about the evolution of the Border Doors project features: Claudio Pérez, teacher at Sandia Prep; Dr. Jesus Pérez, professor at Cascadia College; and Rose Mary Sánchez-Guzmán, pastor from Cristo Rey Centro Luterano. Since 2014, the initiative has fostered a deeper understanding of immigration by connecting students with advocates and immigrants on the U.S./Mexico Border. The discussion explores the role of the Border Doors project in shaping broader conversations about the border and the human face of immigration.

This closing event for the exhibition Puertas fronterizas / Border Doors is made possible in part by New Mexico Humanities Council / National Endowment for the Humanities.
