UNMH – Ophthalmology Clinic, 1600 University Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87102

The applicant is requesting a new Construction Permit for the following:

1. Install a new 150 kW/324 horsepower (hp) diesel fired emergency generator/internal combustion engine. This new backup generator’s main function is to provide backup power to support operations in the event that primary power is interrupted.
2. Requests 500 hours of operation per year. The generator will only be operated during unavoidable loss of commercial power or during required maintenance/exercising.
