The applicant is requesting a modification to Permit No. 1671-M1.

1. The applicant requests to demolish the current 364 horsepower (hp) diesel fired emergency generator/internal combustion engine and replace it with a 755 hp diesel fired emergency generator/internal combustion engine. This new backup generator’s main function is to provide backup power to support operations in the event that primary power is interrupted.
2. Requests 500 hours of operation per year. The generator will only be operated during unavoidable loss of commercial power or during required maintenance/exercising.
3. Replace existing boilers and water heaters with new units.
