The applicant is requesting a new construction permit to install a new 755-horsepower, diesel-fueled, emergency generator. The applicant is requesting to operate the emergency engine for a maximum of 200 hours per year. The emergency engine will only be operated during unavoidable loss of commercial power, or during required maintenance and exercising activities.
