2025 Camps

What better place to spend spring break than at the ABQ BioPark? Spring break camps are a fun way to keep your child engaged and in a creative environment. Camp activities include games, crafts, behind the scenes tours, and more.   

March 17-21, 2025. Camps run Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for 2nd-6th graders, at either the Zoo or the Aquarium/Botanic Garden 

Prices and Registration

$265/$250 for NMBPS members

What you need to know

  • An informational e-mail will be sent one week prior to your camp.
  • Please arrive by 9 a.m. and pick up your child no later than 4 p.m. 
  • Camps take place rain or shine, and some activities are outdoors. Wear layers of clothing.
  • Bring a lunch, snack and water bottle.
  • Please remind your children that cell phone usage will be limited to emergency calls, unless instructed by the teacher for an activity. We also allow phone usage during lunch, but they should be stored in a safe place while doing other activities for camp or during class.

Refund Policy

Refunds are given if requested at least four weeks prior to the start of the first day of class, minus a $25 processing fee per class/per child. No refunds will be given if requested within the four weeks prior to the first day of class or once classes begin. For 2025, refunds can be requested until midnight on February 16, 2025. You may still drop the camp after February 16, but will not receive a refund. 

 

Registration opens at 9 a.m. on February 5, 2025

Registration will be through an ASAP account. You can log in to your existing account, or create a new one, and make sure all of your details are current ahead of time to help ensure a smooth registration once open.

Spring Wildlife Safari

ABQ BioPark Zoo
Grades 2-3, 4-6

March 17-21, 2025

Go on a safari at the Zoo! Join us for a fun-filled week where you will learn about wildlife in New Mexico and around the world. Discover hippo habits, listen to elephants rumble and search for camouflaged critters. Campers will learn all about what it takes to keep animals healthy and happy at the Zoo, discover amazing animal adaptations, and explore ecosystems. Zoo camps include up-close encounters with education animal ambassadors, keeper chats, and special guided tours.

Explore with us as we connect New Mexico to the oceans and what role plants play in the ecosystems along the way. Fill your senses with amazing plants, discover the realm of bugs, uncover the secrets of invertebrates in a pond, and beyond! Learn and practice how scientists help endangered species with staff in the aquarium and botanic garden.
