Fiesta Fanatics

Our team proudly hosts this pre-Balloon Fiesta fall neighborhood cleanup initiative! Be a part of the cleanup event at Balloon Fiesta Park or host a cleanup in your neighborhood.

A group of kids, ranging in age from about four to early teens, stands in two rows and smiles at the audience. Most have yellow safety vests on and most are holding trash grabbers and trash bags. Behind them is a parking lot full of cars and a small section of the Balloon Museum can be seen in the upper right.

Fiesta Fanatics, formerly known as Company's Comin, is Keep Albuquerque Beautiful's largest community cleanup event of the year. This year's event will take place at Balloon Fiesta Park on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 9AM to 12PM. Volunteers will be equipped with t-shirts, gloves, trash bags, and grabbers for the three-hour event. The first 50 people to arrive will receive one free entry ticket to the 2024 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.

Keep Albuquerque Beautiful has partnered with Imagine ABQ, a local non-profit organization with a similar mission of helping our City shine, starting where your feet are. While the main Fiesta Fanatics event will be held at Balloon Fiesta Park, volunteers also have the option to host a neighborhood cleanup event on the same day. Neighborhood volunteer groups will be provided with cleaning supplies prior to the day of the event.

Registration is open through Friday, September 20 via One ABQ Volunteers. All volunteers must complete a liability waiver and photo release form before the start of the event.
