Senior Affairs Holiday Donation Drive Underway
Senior Affairs is collecting new winter essentials for older adults through Nov. 30
The City of Albuquerque Department of Senior Affairs is collecting new winter essentials throughout November to help older adults in need during the holiday season.
Donations will benefit older adults enrolled in the department's Care Coordination Program, which helps connect seniors with services and resources that support their well-being.
Community members are encouraged to donate new hats, socks, gloves, scarves, and blankets. Handmade blankets are also welcome but must be new.
There are two ways to participate. Donations can be dropped off at any City of Albuquerque senior or multigenerational center, or residents can shop the Amazon Wish List using the QR code on the event flyer. Items purchased through the Wish List will be shipped directly to Barelas Senior Center using the preselected delivery address at checkout.
The Holiday Donation Drive runs from Nov. 1 to Nov. 30, 2026.
