Road rage shooting investigated as possibly justifiable

ALBUQUERQUE – APD detectives are investigating Thursday’s road-rage shooting in Southeast Albuquerque as a possible justifiable shooting.

Officers responded Thursday at 3:15 p.m. to a shooting at the South Point Mobile Home Park, located at 11100 Gibson Blvd., S.E. Officers learned the shooting followed a road rage incident. An adult male, who suffered a gunshot wound, was transported to a local hospital and is not expected to survive his wound.

Homicide detectives are investigating claims that the shooting was in self-defense.
