APD provides update on house party shooting

ALBUQUERQUE – APD officers were dispatched on June 3, 2023, to a home on the 4400 block of Hilton Ave., N.E. where they located three male individuals deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.

Homicide detectives took over the investigation and it was determined that during a birthday party, an individual by the name of Jordan Johnson got into a physical altercation with individuals by the names of Marcos Perez and Nicholas Ortega. During the altercation, Jordan Johnson produced a handgun and shot and killed Marcos Perez.  Nicholas Ortega then exchanged gunfire with Jordan Johnson.

It appears through investigation that all individuals involved in the shooting are deceased and there is no threat to the community.

A 17-year-old female who was struck by gunfire during the altercation was treated and released from the hospital.
