APD investigating overnight homicide in SE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE – APD officers responded to reports of a vehicle crash around 12:15 a.m. to the area of Kathryn Ave. and Columbia Dr., S.E.

Upon arrival officers realized the driver of the vehicle, a female adult, had what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The driver was pronounced deceased on scene. The incident is being investigated as a suspicious death.

The investigation is ongoing.
