Resources

Homeless Help Line

Call 505-768-HELP (4357) for housing programs, shelter information, and food, shower, and clothing resources.

The City of Albuquerque is a member of the New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessness, which assists communities to create solutions to homelessness from prevention through permanent housing by using action, advocacy, and awareness. The NMCEH also conducts the annual Point In Time count which is a census taken of the unhoused population on a single night in January.

The City of Albuquerque homeless helpline is operated by the New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessness. Advocates are available to provide resources and referrals related to homelessness. Helpline staff can be reached by phone, text, or email.

Landlord Resources

The Landlord Engagement Program (LEP) provides landlords with financial incentives to ensure a successful tenancy and/or accept holders of permanent supportive housing voucher. The LEP can provide up to $3,000 for damage to units, $1,000 in improvements, $500 in various start-up costs, and one month of vacancy loss for those renting to voucher holders (PSH).
