On December 7, 2024, Albuquerque Police Department Officers were dispatched to the Laundromat located at 611 San Mateo Blvd SE in reference to a fight. Upon the officer's arrival, they located one male subject with a gunshot injury. The male was transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. This is an ongoing investigation.
