On September 18, 2024, officers within the Southeast Area Command were dispatched to a shooting on the 300 block of Grove St SE. Upon arrival, officers located one subject deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. A second victim, believed to be related to the incident, was transported to UNMH with a gunshot wound. A homicide investigation has been initiated.
