Information about suspending your residential garbage pickup service.
(Ord. 42-2006) § 9-10-1-11 COLLECTION FEES.
- Written request for service suspension is received by the City Solid Waste Management Department ten days prior to the beginning of suspension. The request shall include date of departure and expected return date.
- Written request should be mailed to:

- Requests by telephone cannot be honored.
- If refuse is found at the premises during temporary suspension of service and it is determined said refuse was generated by lawful occupants of the premises, the customer may be back billed for entire suspension period. All charges are on full month basis and shall not be prorated.
