West Gallery Exhibit, VAST: Under New Mexico Skies by Janet Bothne

Janet Bothne has been “weaving” color into bold, abstract paintings for over two decades. Her artistic journey began early, evolving from realistic works in watercolor, oil, and pastel to fully imaginative abstract paintings in acrylic. This shift allowed her work to flourish, leading her to pursue art full time after a career in graphic design.

Esperanza Bicycle Safety Education Center is proud to offer a FREE Earn-a-Bike class. Topics covered during the class include road safety, flat prevention, route finding, and helmet fitting. Once the class is completed, the participant will have earned a refurbished bicycle and a new helmet. Please be prepared to take your refurbished bike home at the end of class! For ages 5-18. Children under 9 should be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required and limited to 8 participants. To register, call South Valley Library or stop by in person.
