Information about WorkKeys for Residential and Commercial Collections Driver.
The residential and commercial collection driver job application require three (3) minimum WorkKeys assessment scores.
Required WorkKeys Scores
- Reading for Information: 3 or higher
- Locating Information: 3 or higher
- Workplace Observation: 2 or higher
Your scores must be no older than 3 years. If you do not have these WorkKeys scores or if your current WorkKeys scores are more than 3 years old, you should take the WorkKeys assessments and achieve these scores prior to applying.
Each assessment will take 55 minutes to complete. These assessments are proctored and given at authorized locations. There is no cost for taking the assessments.
Schedule your WorkKeys assessment online or by calling Public Service University at (505) 768-3200. You will need to reserve three (3) blocks of time to take all three assessments.
If you achieve the required scores in each assessment area, you will need to attach your official WorkKeys transcripts to your online application. Your application will not be considered without valid WorkKeys scores.
You may take the WorkKeys assessments as many times as you like. If your WorkKeys assessment results do not meet the minimum requirement, or if you want to practice before your assessments, you can "skill up" with free web-based tutoring through KeyTrain.
Request a KeyTrain account through our online form or call Public Service University at (505) 768-3200. Key Train is the approved web-based training provider for WorkKeys. There is no cost for this service.
For information about this change in the application process contact the City Human Resources Department at (505) 768-3700.
