Book a ride and track your van with new app for Sun Van and ABQ RIDE Connect services.
ABQ RIDE is making microtransit and paratransit easier and faster. Sun Van and ABQ RIDE Connect users can book trips and track their vans real-time using the ABQ RIDE GO! app. This technology speeds up service, with automated scheduling and more efficient driver selection and routes.

ABQ RIDE will undergo this software transition in two phases:
Phase I: Effective Monday, October 20, 2025
ABQ RIDE will no longer run its ABQ RIDE Connect microtransit service through the ABQ RIDE Connect app. Starting Tuesday, October 7, riders can download the new ABQ RIDE GO! app to prepare for this transition.
Phase II: Effective Saturday, November 15, 2025
Sun Van riders can begin using the ABQ RIDE GO! app. Booking Sun Van rides on the new app begins November 10 and service on the new app begins November 15. Sun Van rides can still be scheduled by calling 243-RIDE in addition to the other options.

How to Get Started
- Download the new ABQ RIDE GO! app from Google Play or the Apple Store. You can now uninstall the previous ride scheduling app.
- Create a new rider profile. For microtransit bookings, you can start using your account immediately. For paratransit bookings, new riders need to complete the eligibility form and talk to our customer service team by calling 243-RIDE. Existing Sun Van riders also need to contact customer service to start booking rides on this app.
- Start booking your rides through either the ABQ RIDE GO! app, customer service, or online.
- When searching and booking, select your origin destination, seat type, and a ride that fits your needs.
- Be sure to complete all steps. You’ll receive a confirmation pop-up once your ride is booked successfully.
- View your upcoming rides or track trips in “My Journeys” in the left-hand navigation.
- Meet your driver at the curb for door-to-door service.
- Arrive at the pickup location a few minutes early for prompt departure and to keep other passengers on schedule.
- Ride to your destination or transfer to regular bus service.
ABQ RIDE will continue to offer the same microtransit and paratransit services, just on a new app. In the first phase of this plan, riders can start booking rides for ABQ RIDE Connect on the new ABQ RIDE GO! app. In the second phase, riders can start booking rides for Sun Van on the new ABQ RIDE GO! app.
