Make the ABQ BioPark a part of your classroom experience. Our Education Department has various programs designed to teach your students about ecology and nature.
All of our programs are free, but must be scheduled at least six-weeks in advance.
Let us bring the BioPark to you or request an educational program as part of your field trip to the BioPark. Anyone visiting the BioPark is welcome to bring along any of our Educational Activity Packet.
Programs are available either in your Albuquerque-area classroom or at the BioPark when you come for a field trip.
For teachers looking for an exciting classroom presentation or an educational "extra" during a field trip to one of the BioPark facilities, our classroom programs offer in-depth lessons about many aspects of nature and ecology.
Discovery Stations use biofacts or education animals to engage visitors in hands-on learning.
If you would like to schedule a particular activity for your class visit, call (505) 848-7180 at least six weeks in advance.
A prearranged tour guided by a volunteer may be available.
